5	Thursday, 10/18/12	About Livorno ( Florence,Pisa) The birthplace of the artist Modigliani, this is Tuscanys principal port, just a short jaunt from the artistic treasures of Florence. As you wander the streets and piazzas of this famous city you will encounter countless treasrues of Renaissance art and architecture. Livorno ( Florence,Pisa) Attractions When you're in the area, you'll definitely want to explore Florence, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Start by visiting the church of Santa Croce, known as Italy's Westminster Abbey because of the Italian monarchy buried there. View the 14th-century interior and marvel at one of the finest examples of Florentine Gothic decoration. Stop at the Piazza del Duomo in Florence, where the cathedral, bell tower and baptistery share the same square. Then stop in the Piazza della Signoria, the city's largest square, and gaze upon a copy of Michelangelo's David and the Loggia dei Lanzi. 6	Friday, 10/19/12	About Cannes Once the site of a small Ligurian port and later a Roman outpost, it wasn't until the 19th century, when aristocrats began to winter in the area's mild climate, that Cannes became popular. It is said that due to the area's few natural harbors, most ancient activity took place on the Lenin Islands, just off the coast of Cannes. Consequently the history of Cannes is mixed with the history of the islands. In the 1950's, with the beginning of the film festival and a flood of stars, mass tourism transformed this quiet retreat into today's fashionable resort. Unlike other cities on the French Riviera, Cannes radiates energy. The city is centered on the old port, with a compact central part. Bordered by palm trees and flowers, La Croisette is one of the city's hottest spots and the main promenade running alongside the narrow beach. The old town, Le Suquet, where Gallo-Roman tombs were discovered, provides a medieval feeling and magnificent views of the bay from atop its hill. Cannes Attractions Flowering gardens and palm trees line the curve of Cannes' coastline along the promenade de la Croisette. La Croisette is a street to explore at a leisurely pace, drinking in the stunning seaside view. Cannes Activities Parc de La Roserie is within walking distance from La Croisette, this park features about 14,000 roses in the summer. Musée de La Castre is the only museum in Cannes houses a diverse collection of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern antiquities, including musical instruments from all over the world and pictures of old Cannes. Most hotels lining La Croisette have their own private beach area reserved for their guests. The only public beach is a small stretch of sand near the Palais des Festivals. Plages du Midi and Plages de la Bocca are good public beaches just outside Cannes. For a breathtaking view of Cannes, journey up to the old town of Cannes on Suquet Hill. From the top you can see the entire city, the sea and the Lérins Islands. On the hill you'll also find a 14th century tower (the Tour du Suquet). At nearby Avignon, visit the magmificient Palace of the Popes and the hilltop Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde. Explore ruins of 13th century Palais Longchamps and colorful "Old Harbour" where you can browse open-air markets. Marseilles Attractions For the best view of the city, there's only one place to go: Notre Dame de la Garde. Entirely covered in gold leaf, it towers over Marseille at an impressive 500 feet tall (154 meters.) Throughout the years, it has served as a lookout post, a military zone and a place of worship. 	CAGNEY'S Grab the Gaucho's choice for flavor. Weve taken our traditional steakhouse and fused it with a trendy, energetic Argentinean-inspired Churrascaria that overlooks The Manhattan Room. Taking center stage is a huge, mouthwatering, irresistibly fresh salad bar and the finest cuts of meat grilled or skewered to order. For all you non-meat-eaters, theres perfectly prepared chicken, fish and vegetarian dishes as well.
	SHANGHAI'S The feel is Old Shanghai in the 1930s, reminiscent of the China Club in Hong Kong. The food is a masterful mix of traditional Chinese cuisine, noodles, wok fried dishes, dim sum and then some, freshly prepared in a lively open kitchen for all to see. Grab your chopsticks, or your fork, because you wont want to miss one single, delicious bite.

The exhilarating Aqua Park features multiple slides with multiple thrills. Play Wii on a two-story screen or bowl on one of the ships six alleys. Or take on a challenge at the sports complex and rock-climbing wall. Plus, theres supervised fun for the kids at Recess and teen activities at Entourage, when adults need a little grown-up time.

	FAMILY ACCOMMODATIONS Flexible and family friendly. Freestyle Cruising is all about choice. So weve created the most flexible accommodation at sea with more choices of connecting staterooms than any other cruise line. Norwegian Epic offers this flexibility in every category to keep you connected to your family while still providing plenty of privacy and space. Many of the Family Balcony Staterooms come with two lower beds that convert to a queen, one upper bed and a sofa bed, to sleep four comfortably. Plus, our family deck area is in close proximity to our Kids Crew Zones.
	AQUA PARK So fun you'll want to cut in line. Suit up and splash down at our first ever Aqua Park. Choose from three multi-story water slides of varying thrill factors. The first one is specifically designed for the not-so-adventurous and zips straight through the rock-climbing wall. The second slide is for the slightly more adventurous, because it twists and turns down three stories. Then theres The Epic Plunge, the only tube slide at sea that puts the blast of inner-tubing into the core of a bowl slide, with a thrilling drop through a 200-foot long tube. The Aqua Park also includes two main pools with arching water effects that illuminate at night, five hot tubs, a wading pool and a kids pool that features whimsical sculptures, water sprays and a slide. Finally, when you are looking to dry off, theres plenty of room to soak up some rays on one of our expansive sun decks.
	RECESS The kids won't know you are gone. Weve pulled out all the stops for the young ones with a gigantic kids area and a special area just for tweens, known as Recess. Kids can blast off at the space station and enjoy age-appropriate and structured games. Theres even an interactive light up dance floor, Wii and PlayStation3 gaming areas and a private karaoke performance stage that doubles a state-of-the-art surround sound cinema. Plus, the expanded hours let mom and dad have time for their own fun. Its a great time to be a kid on Norwegian Epic.
	BOWLING Get your game on. Norwegian Epic features not one, but two of our signature, industry-first bowling alleys at sea. Theres OSheehans Neighborhood Bar & Grill where the whole gang can head on over to the lanes and test their skills. Then theres the three lanes at Bliss Ultra Lounge where during the day all ages are welcome and, at night, Bliss becomes an adults-only lounge where the game takes on a whole new look with special effects and lighting and illuminated neon-colored balls.
	ENTOURAGE Hottest under 21 nightclub ever! Guaranteed to attract all teens, Entourage is designed like an adult lounge minus the adults. Filled with all things important to the 13- to 17-year-old crowd including self-serve food and soda stations. During the day, its all play with PlayStation3, air hockey, pinball, foosball, a video jukebox and nine large flat-screen televisions. In the evening, Entourage turns into a teens-only nightclub with a space for dancing to a video jukebox and trendy seating arrangements for just hanging out.
	FAMILY DINING Time for a family reunion. Sometimes kids can be the toughest critics of all. Thats one reason why we offer 17 different dining options, including take-out choices and room service. So while adults enjoy a world of culinary options on board Norwegian Epic, kids can stick to their favorites including freshly grilled burgers, pizza or pasta. Even Chinese or grilled cheese. And afterwards, well do the dishes.
	SPORTS COMPLEX The fun of Saturday afternoon, everyday. The Sports Complex has not one, but two decks to play on. Join a game of pickup on a full-sized basketball court or relive those school days playing dodge ball. Practice your swing in our batting cage. Even the climbing wall is incredible. Part rock and part vertical building, our new climbing wall is accessible on two levels with varying degrees of difficulty, rated according to official U.S. climbing grades. At 33 feet high and 64 feet wide, the extreme climbing wall includes a water tube weaving right through the middle and the first-ever rappelling wall at sea. Theres also a 24-foot tall enclosed climbing cage we call the Spider Web.

	POSH Posh Beach Club - The best nightlife day or night. A first of its kind beach club at sea that offers guests of The Villas the sizzle of South Beach and the ritz of the Riviera in an exclusive, adults-only setting. 	BLISS ULTRA LOUNGE Bliss Ultra Lounge and Nightclub - Arouse your senses, day or night. A light mist welcomes you as you enter into Bliss, as if to say, Youve just entered another realm. Inspired by the original ice hotels in Scandinavia, The Ice Bar is one of only 14 in the world and the only true ice bar at sea.
